So it's the day that it seems everyone has been waiting for - the Royal Wedding Day.
I have my coffee in a Mills & Boon Royal Wedding mug. My own 'Queen'' Flora is sitting on the settee fascinated by the colours and movement and - well, the fascinators on the screen.
Charlie has decided to echo the woodland/greenery decorations in Wesminster Abbey and has brough a range of leaves and grass into the house attached to his great plume of a tail.
Sid - being the Alpha male that he is - has decided he wants to get away fro0m all the fuss and his gone into the garden to enhoy the sun.
I wish WIlliam and Kate a wonderful day, and a long loving married life with every joy and happiness in the future .
And when the ceremony is over and they have become the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then I'll try to persuade that alpha cat to pick out the names of the winners of the Royal Wedding novella collection.
Enjy the day

Oh what a wonderful wedding it was! Such a fantastic mix of tradition and modern, and the service was solemn without being stuffy. And they both looked so beautiful(well, he looked handsome!)! Just loved it all!

Oh Kate ~ The other Kate and her Will had a just lovely wedding. I stayed up all night to watch it. I am still glowing from the feeling of goodness it inspired. It's just what this troubled world needed. I just love the hats and the fascinators. I thought Kate's dress was just perfect ~ so elegant just like Kate.
One of my cats shared the first hour of the 7 and 1/2 hours I watched and the other shared the second hour and then they went and joined my husband in bed until he got up just in time to see the ceremony. Then he went back to bed so he missed the kisses.
It was a lovely wedding and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We got a great reception of the broadcast out here in India and my sister in London and I were actually tweeting back and forth about some of the outfits etc. I couldn't have enjoyed such fun on an occasion like this several years ago!
