Dear Editor . . .

Dear Editor

Yes, I am working on my new book. I know that the deadline is approaching - in fact it's starting to loom on the horizon, far too close.
So I am working on the new story - believe me, I am. But I have to say that I'm having some problems with my computer.
Well, not so much with my computer, as with the screen.

You see, when I look up at my screen I can't see anything I have written - in fact all that I can see is this:

How funny Kate, Flora is adorable. I'd never get any work done as I'd be playing wwith her all of the time.

Hope you're keeping well.

Chris.

She is such a little scamp!

Well, not that little, actually. Good taste in reading material though. ;-)

This is SO funny!

By the way I enlarged all your kitty pictures of late and my girls know all your cats by name. :-)

Ahh...yes, the old cat fixated by the blinking cursor problem.

Solution? Buy a cute little USB toy to plug in TO THE SIDE so she can play with that instead. May I suggest http://www.computergear.com/cumila.html
Everytime she comes near me, fire a missile so she chases it to the other side of the room. (Hmm, you could even teach her to retrieve...)
I'm sure it wouldn't put you off working at all!

The thing is, Maine Coon cats DO retrieve. So do you want to spend your days throwing things so Flora can fetch them, or do you need to write a book? Me, I'd be opting to play catch with Flora! Maybe Sid could teach her to wrestle. And then to nap.

Okay Kate... I'm sorry. I know you are under deadline, but since I'm a huge fan I'm tagging you. If you get a moment from your busy schedule take a moment and wander over to my With a Little Luck blog at www.teaganoliver.blogspot.com and check it out. It's a challenge to post seven things that others might not know about you. If you want you can post a nasty mean comment to my blog for taking you away from your deadline.

Oh, and congrats on the new kitty... She's a doll! And a "Maine" kitty. You can't go wrong :)

Now if Flora could only talk...does she have her own cell phone? :D Great pic and super post.

Good morning, Kate. I'm all excited because a blog replier of mine has seen a sheikh palace and photographed it. I'm excited waiting for him to post the pic on his blog. The Harlequin RR and your books zoomed through my mind all at once when he told me he visited a real sheikh palace. :D

I'm doing well. Am now a moderator on Deidre Knight's loop. :D And I'm working on a children's book that I'm excited about. Also finishing up a mainstream.

We're heading into the coldest part of winter. Snow and below zero temps.

Hugs, JJ/Nancy
